Bhutan welcomes the disengagement at Doklam area Thimphu,

Bhutan:  Bhutan today welcomed the military disengagement by India and China in the Doklam area, according to the Foreign Ministry statement here. A report in the web edition of “Kuensel” today said that Bhutan hoped the development would lead to peace and tranquillity. “We hope this contributes to the maintenance of peace and tranquility and status quo along the borders of Bhutan, China and India in keeping with the existing agreements between the respective countries,” the statement added.
