MBCC president Pynehborlang Mukhim quits

SHILLONG: The President of Mawryngkneng Block Congress Committee (MBCC), Pynehborlang Mukhim resigned on Tuesday.

He tendered his resignation to the president, District Congress Committee (DCC), Kennedy Khyriem stating that he resigned on personal ground.

A copy of the letter has been sent to the President and Secretary of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee and Secretary of the DCC.

In the last 2013 Assembly elections from Mawryngkneng constituency, he bagged second spot with 5574 votes while the winner David Nongrum got 6200 votes.
