City Diagnostic Centre accused of giving wrong report

SHILLONG: A CRPF personnel, GC Kalita, has alleged that a diagnostic centre in the city gave a wrong report after his wife was asked to conducted a test at the centre.
Kalita alleged that his wife, Gita Kalita was advised vaginal swab fungal culture and sensitivity test. However, the North East Diagnostic Centre gave antimicrobial culture report instead which is not related with the patients’ illness.
Attempts were made to contact the North East Diagnostic Centre but their mobile phone was switched off.
