Swine flu patients number reaches to 2545 in UP

Lucknow:  With 38 new cases of swine flu reporting today, the total number of patients has reached to 2,545 in Uttar Pradesh. Official sources said 38 new patients were confirmed in Lucknow in last 24 hours. Swine flu has taken more than 60 lives till date. Sources said 98 patients were found in NCR region, while 203 patients were in Meerut. 15 deaths have been reported from Meerut district yet. However, the state government is claiming that UP health department was ready to deal with swine flu, but increasing number of patients defines another story. Even doctors and medical staff were also contaminated with flu. (UNI)
