MUPSTA
The general meeting of the Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) Amlarem Sub-Divisional unit was held recently at Government LP School Amlarem where new office bearers were elected with Edwelson Pohtam as president, Rimaya Surong as general secretary and other executive members.

Tree planting
The NSS unit of St. Dominic’s College under the supervision of its programme officers organised a tree plantation programme recently at Umran Niangbyrnai village, Ri Bhoi district where 200 sapling were planted. The College also donated around 1000 T-shirts to the village school students.

Food fest
A food festival was organised by the MBBS students of NEIGRIHMS recently. Medical students of Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland established food stalls of regional food delicacies in the event which was attended by doctors, nursing faculty and others.

Eid-Ul-Azha
Mohammadia-Al-Hussainee Mosque Committee, Nongsohphoh, Barapathar-point, the Eid-Ul-Azha informed that the congregational prayer will he held on Saturday at 8 am at the Mohammadai-Al-Hussainee Masjid premi-ses. The founder family, Islamia Secondary School, Police Bazar has conveyed its best wishes to the people of the state.

Unitarian Church
The annual general memorial service of the Unitarian Church will be held on September 3 at 1:30 pm at Unitarian Church, Madan Laban.

BJP meet
BJP West Jaintia Hills will hold a meeting on September 2 at 11 am at Tpep -Pale Community Hall, Jowai.

Rangsa Mahari
The general meeting of the Shillong Rangsa Mahari Association will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Don Bosco Savio Hall, Laitumkhrah.
