SHILLONG: The UDP election committee meeting will be held on September 7 to release the first list of candidates of the party.
The UDP and HSPDP had come to a pre –poll alliance and last week, the HSPDP had released the first list of 10 candidates.
“We will meet on September 7 aimed at releasing the first list of candidates”, UDP president Donkupar Roy said on Saturday.
On the issue of differences over the pre poll alliance, the UDP leader said that party legislators and functionaries were all united.
