SHILLONG: Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh has filed an FIR against Banhum Mylliem of Mawmyrsiang, Nongpathaw, for making hate speech against him during a meeting.
Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that on July 17, during a meeting at Lower Primary School SSA, Nongsawing in East Khasi Hills, Mylliem had made false charges with an intent to injure, harm and defame him. “The speech was of hatred and threat to inject and instigate people,” the minister said.
