MAWKYRWAT: The Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong and the Joint Village Defence Party (VDP) of Mawthawpdah organised a VDP rally cum awareness programme at Rangdhew village in South West Khasi Hills on Thursday.
The programme covered various topics, including the role of VDPs, the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, crime against women and the POCSO Act. It was organised in collaboration with the SP office, District Social Welfare and District Legal Services Authority.
