UDP youth wing worries over GSWS water quality

Shillong: The state youth wing of the UDP met the EE of the Greater Shillong Water Supply (GSWS) on September 6 and apprised him of the quality of water supplied to the households in the city. The youth wing said the water supplied in areas under GSWS is unfit for consumption, especially in the rainy season, and put residents at health risk. The department assured that they would look into the matter.
