JOWAI: The office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Meghalaya, will organise a workshop on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act at the District Library Auditorium in Mynthong on Thursday, in collaboration with the office of the Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills District.
The first session of the workshop will be organised from 11 am to 1.30 pm for all district officers of West and East Jaintia Hills, Block Development Offices, accountants and cashiers.
The second session will be held from 2.30 pm to 5pm for all taxpayers, including dealers, contractors and suppliers of West Jaintia Hills district.
