2 killed in separate accidents

SHILLONG: On Sunday evening, Banrisuklang Rangslang (38) fell down from a running scooty (ML-05B-9180) at 7th Mile Upper Shillong. Rangslang sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong, where she succumbed to her injuries. In another incident, on September 8 around 11.30 am, a truck (AS-01HC-4258) knocked down a motorcycle bearing registration number TR-01-6135, at Umtyra village in East Jaintia Hills.
The two riders, Joy Kishore Nath (29) and Gira Das sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Khliehriat, later they were referred to Civil Hospital Jowai. Nath was declared brought dead by the attending MO.
