SHILLONG: Dalmia Bharat Cement on Monday organised ‘Dalmia Bharat Cement Green Road Show’, starting from Upper Lachumiere to Bethany Society in Laitumkhrah, as part of their green initiative programme.
The road show was flagged off by former MLA Manas Chaudhuri. A number of dealers and employees of Dalmia Cement participated in the event.
The participants distributed saplings among its dealers across the city and carried out a plantation drive on the premises of Bethany Society where around 25 special children took part in the activity.
Two boys of the Society — Wanlamphrang Nongkhlaw and Dilbertstar L Nonglail — performed in the event. The road show will be followed by a brand promotion exercise for seven days where Dalmia Cement will spread green consciousness among its channel partners in this market activation drive.
Every channel partner will be presented with a sapling that will be planted on the dealers’ premises. The dealers will take care of the plants.
