Private survey route to select candidates

SHILLONG: BJP has completed its first private survey and the assessment report on the strength and weaknesses of the party and candidate in each constituency was submitted to the central leadership.
State BJP president Shibun Lyngdoh refused to divulge the name of the agency that carried out the survey but said the party’s central leadership was examining the report.
He also said another survey is underway before the party finally declares names of candidates either by the end of November or in December.
