Six injured in roads accidents
On September 12 around 1.30 pm, one vehicle (ML-05J-8172) driven by Da-O-Hipaia Phawa skidded on the road at Umran Dairy in Ri Bhoi. As a result, one of the occupants sustained injuries and was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Shillong.
On September 12 morning, one truck (UP-17C-3611) driven by Puran Singh plunged into a gorge at Wah Mynso, Rashi village (WJH). As a result, the driver sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Ummulong.
Two persons sustained injuries when the bike they were travelling on skidded and roll over at Quinine, Nongpoh on Wednesday. The injured Raj Kumar Vivek Singh (25) and the pillion rider Philen Gita Bai (25) from Guwahati refused to go to the hospital and were given first aide by the Nongpoh based 108 Ambulance.
In another incident, one truck plunged into a deep gorge at Lad Umjajew, Mawlai on Wednesday. The driver Elbin Lyngdoh (32) and the helper Donlang Kharbani (35) sustained injuries and were taken to Shillong Civil Hospital.

HBL battery stolen
On the night of September 11, miscreants stole twenty-four HBL battery banks valued around Rs. 1,50,000 from Khloo Shikilo village (EJH).

Illegal transportation
On September 11 evening, Police detected eight trucks for illegally transporting boulders at Myntdu (WJH). The matter in under inquiry.
