A branch of a tree hanging precariously over the road at Ringre market, Tura, slowed down traffic on Saturday. The police later removed the branch. Recently there had been incidents of falling trees in Shillong after which the forest department issued helpline numbers to facilitate cutting down of old trees. (ST)
