JOWAI: Miscreants have looted more than 100 Samsung and Vivo mobile handsets from a mobile shop located at Indica Stand, Iawmusiang Jowai in West Jaintia Hills.
The shop owner discovered that his shop had been broken into by miscreants on Saturday morning and later lodged a complaint with the Jowai police.
According to police, modus operandi indicates that some of the burglars are juvenile and alerted people to be cautious of people selling mobile sets at low prices and that they are to be detained.
Several cases of robberies and thefts have been reported from across the state lately.
