JOWAI: The CEM of JHADC, Thombor Shiwat, said he will not resign from the post though the MDCs elected Andrew Shullai as the next leader in JHADC as per the decision of MPCC.
“I will wait for the special session to challenge the decision of MPCC”, Shiwat said on Tuesday.
Reiterating that he would not resign, the CEM said that he would wait for the Governor to summon the special session.
Shiwat was absent at the MPCC meeting held on Monday and only 19 Congress MDCs were present.
“The drama will be very interesting. Let us wait and watch”, said a former MLA.
The Congress party accused Shiwat of being involved in anti party activities just because he happened to be from Nartiang constituency which is represented by Congress legislator Sniawbhalang Dhar, he added.
