TURA: Williamnagar police in East Garo Hills are on a search to arrest a man who has been raping his seven-year-old twin step-daughters for the last many months in the village of Cheran Songgital.
The gory incident came to light after the victims’ family came to Williamnagar police station to report the crime on Wednesday morning.
The accused has been identified as Raj M Sangma and police informed that he fled the village on Tuesday night after his crime came to light. He is currently absconding.
The girls were brought to Williamnagar civil hospital for medical treatment.
