SHILLONG: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday launched BSNL Wi-Fi hotspots in ten areas of the capital city of Shillong.
The areas where the service has been made operational include Police Bazar, NEIGRIHMS, CGMT office, Garikhana, Happy Valley, Rynjah Exchange, Forest Colony, JN Stadium, GMTD Shillong and ICAR complex.
The wi-fi hotspots have been launched in different segments like BSNL 4G plus and BSNL boradfi and customers can recharge from Rs 10 to Rs 1999 to use the services.
K K Saxena, Chief General Manager for BSNL North East 1 circle said that wi-fi under USOF rural has also been installed in 18 rural places of the state
