SHILLONG: The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya division has informed that a good number of Aadhaar cards were lying undelivered at Shillong GPO because of incomplete address of the addressees under the GPO.
The names of the localities covered by Shillong GPO are Dhankheti, Lachumiere, Malki, Pine Mount, NCC, 29 Cantonment, Civil Hospital, Rhino, Pine Walk, Barik, IGP Point, Governor House, All India Radio Road, Bivar Road, MC Road, Bishop Cotton Road, Oakland, Polo Road, Polo Bazaar, Jail Road, Sadar Police Station, Quinton Road, Thana Road, Police Bazaar, Umsohsun, Mawkhar, Wahingdoh, Keating Road, Lady Keane Area, Forest Colony, Lawmali, Polo Hills, Pynthorumkhrah, Shyiap and Langkyrding.
The postal official has urged the concerned residents to collect their Aadhaar cards from the Shillong GPO between 11am and 3 pm.
