NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the transfer of two judges back to the Delhi high court over a year after they were posted to the Meghalaya and Madras high courts, a senior official said.
Justice Rajiv Shakdher, who was a judge of the Delhi high court, was transferred to the Madras high court in April last year, while another Delhi high court judge, Justice Ved Prakash Vaish, was sent to the Meghalaya high court in May last year.
The SC collegium has now recommended that they should be transferred back to their “parent” high court.
The recommendation was made last week, the official, who requested anonymity, said. (PTI)
