Man drowns in SWKH
A 32-year-old man was drowned in South West Khasi Hills on October 3.The deceased identified as Kyntiewlang Mylliem drowned in Tlongrei River at Mawsain village.
Necessary formalities have been observed and the body was handed over to the relatives.
Two held for assaulting disabled
Police have arrested two persons for assaulting a physically challenged man at Mawnianglah, 7th Mile, Upper Shillong.
The incident happened on September 24 around 5.25 pm, when two persons namely Pynjanai Synshong (23) and Mostly Shylla (25) assaulted Domus Nongkhlaw (43). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at Nazareth Hospital.
Woman goes missing
Evident Shadap Manar lodged a complaint that on June 8 around 8 pm, his elder sister Mercylin Shadap Manar went missing from Sahksih area near Pamrakmai village, East Jaintia Hills.
