Momin clarifies on Don Bosco charge

SHILLONG: Anamika J G.Momin, the Congress ticket aspirant for South Tura said on Saturday that allegations leveled against her by Don Bosco College, Tura was baseless and politically motivated.
The principal cum secretary of Don Bosco College, Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, had filed a complaint on Monday stating that Momin had withdrawn over Rs 2 lakh without attending to her duty as an assistant lecturer of the College.
However, in a clarification, Momin said that the allegations are malicious and without any substance.
“Being a political person, many others are involved with an intention to malign my image and the accusations are fabricated without any evidence”, she said.
According to Momin, she had already discussed the matter with the police.
