SHILLONG: Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) president, Ardent Basaiawmoit has maintained that the regional alliance of UDP-HSPDP places its confidence in the wisdom of the electorate.
Addressing the gathering at the UDP-HSPDP alliance meet at Tyrsad market, Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills, he went on to add that the regional alliance sprang from the aspirations of the people who wanted see that regional parties rule after the 2018 Assembly polls.
Allantry Dkhar, vice-president of UDP said that the regional alliance was formed with the objective to uproot corruption from the state.
The HSPDP candidate from Mawphlang, PM Syiem has urged for the public’s support on this day.
