“The central meeting with Home minister Rajnath Singh, minister of state Kiren Rijiju and Shillong MP Vincent Pala was fruitful and a copy of the memorandum was also submitted to the office of the President of India and the Prime Minister’s Office,” said Nikman Ch Marak, chairman of the GHSMC in a statement to the media.
