Resignation
State BJP Mahila Morcha vice president Probetty Nongpluh has resigned from the BJP on October 19. Nongpluh had contested the last district council election from Mawkhar constituency.

The Meghalaya People’s Committee will hold a public meeting to discuss the issues arising out of implementation of Aadhaar in State at Khasi National Dorbar Hall, Mawkhar at 11 am on October 24.
