PWD road opened in Upper Lumparing

SHILLONG: A PWD road built at a cost of over Rs 85lakh was inaugurated at Lumdorbar in Upper Lumparing on Saturday.
The Monitoring Cum Implementation Committee in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong of Upper Lumparing and Lower Lumparing organised a function on the occasion. H B Wahlang, the Rangbah Shnong of Upper Lumparing, presided over the function.
A statement issued by the committee said the scheme was planned, initiated and recommended by local MLA Sanbor Shullai.
Leaders of the area appreciated the initiative and sustained efforts of Shullai for bringing various kinds of development schemes from government departments.
Various members of Dorbar Shnong, Upper and Lower Lumparing, members of Seng Kynthei, local NGOs and residents of Greater Lumparing also attended the function.
Shullai asked the members of the committee to monitor all the projects for speedy implementation.
