Members of the Punjabi Sabha at the Children’s Hospital in the city
on Saturday. Punjabi Sabha organised a baby show and drawing competition
on occasion of Children’s Day at the Children’s Hospital in Pohkseh.
Altogether 62 children participated in the contests. Later gifts were distributed.
The event is organised annually for the past eight years.
The show is organised by president Sarita Pandey and vice president
Kamla Verma and hosted by Roshni Sachdeva. 
Hundreds of delegates from ABVP Meghalaya take part in Saturday’s Maha Rally and demonstration in the city. ABVP  demonstrated against violence of the ruling CPI(M) in Kerala. The protestors remembered those BJP and ABVP workers who were killed in political violence in the southern state.
