Car stolen
On November 15 circa 9 pm, miscreants stole one Maruti Eeco van (ML-05Q-6641) belonging to Sayed Fazal Ali from his premises at Nongrim Road, Laitumkhrah.

Motorcycle theft
On the night of November 14, miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-10B-1623) belonging to Hudiram Das which was parked at 13th Mile, Byrnihat.

Goons target Municipal truck
Raj Masih, driver of Shillong Municipal Board lodged a complaint that on the night of November 12, miscreants stole a battery from truck (ML-05J-4166) parked on the roadside near Shillong Municipal Board office.

More theft cases
Dross Myrchiang of Wahiajer in West Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on November 14 around 12 noon, miscreants stole his Bolero pick-up (ML-04C-2290). Matter is under enquiry.
On November 14, miscreants stole two cell-phones from the house of Banku Bihari Shaw at Umpling Dongsurok.
In another incident, miscreants broke into the shop of Sushma Sunn at Lumpyngngad, Motinagar, and stole seven cell-phones on November 14 at around 1 am.

Miscreants flee with challans
On November 13 at around 9 am, occupants of one Scorpio vehicle stopped one truck (NL-01K-3937) loaded with clinkers at Mukhla 4th Mile, Bypass Road in West Jaintia Hills asked for the Challans of the goods and fled away with the same. Matter is under investigation.

Several injured in accidents
On November 15 around 7.30 pm, one Mahindra Maxx (ML-05G-7858) dashed against one stationary truck (NL-01L-4073) at Umran National Highway, Ri Bhoi. The driver and occupants of the Mahindra Maxx sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
On November 15 around 8.30 am, one auto-rickshaw (ML-10A-3971) rammed against one stationary container at Amjok, Byrnihat. As a result, the driver of the auto-rickshaw sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Byrnihat. Matter is under enquiry.
On November 13 around 9.30 pm, one Bolero Camper (ML-05K-1440) driven by Marding Nongrum (46) met with an accident at Markasa in West Khasi Hills. Three occupants including the driver sustained injuries and were shifted to PHC Markasa from where the driver was referred to CH Shillong. The matter is under enquiry.

Man accidentally shot
while hunting
Thomas N Sangma lodged a complaint that on November 12 at about 4.30 pm, his nephew Debin Ch Marak was accidentally shot at by one Chengsen Ch Marak while hunting in a forest at Nengkakgre in West Garo HIlls.

Trucks detained
Police have detained two coal laden trucks while illegally transporting coal violating of the NGT order from 20th Mile National Highway Ri Bhoi and from Pamswet-Wapung Sohkymphor Road in East Jaintia Hills, on November 15 and 14 respectively.
