Fire engulfs two houses in EKH

SHILLONG: A fire broke out in the houses of two people at Rngi Bah village, Mawlali in East Khasi Hills on Thursday. However, no casualty was reported.
The fire engulfed the houses of Bris Khyriem and Krorsibon Khyriem.
When contacted, SP (City), Spill Thamar said that the cause of the fire was from the combustion of beef fats to make smoked beef.
The fire spread quickly as those were wooden house, he added.
