Ticket aspirant denies selling challans

SHILLONG: One of the contesting candidates of Mawhati constituency, Eva Kharbani has clarified that the allegations against her that she was selling challans to exporters were not true.
A resident of Bholaganj village, East Khasi Hills, Bimal Das, had alleged that Kharbani and her husband were engaging in selling challans illegally to exporters for export of limestone from Meghalaya to Bangladesh to make profit.
However, Kharbani denied these allegations.
