Cancer detection camp
Shillong Cantonment Board in collaboration with Roko Cancer Charitable Trust will organise a free cancer detection and awareness camp on November 29 from 9 am to 3 pm at JRG Cantonment Hospital, Jhalupara, Shillong.

Seminar
The Department of Arts and Culture will organise a one day seminar on “The importance of collection and compilation of oral literature in the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya,” at Arts and Culture Hall, Directorate of Arts and Culture on November 30 from 10 am.
Department of Mathematics, St Mary’s College will organise a panel discussion on Consumer Rights on November 27 at 1 pm in St. Mary’s College auditorium.

Blood donation
The Adi Students Union, Shillong from Arunachal Pradesh conducted a voluntary blood donation camp at NEIGRIHMS on November 22. Led by president, Kadum Gao, 75 students participated out of which 45 unit of blood were received. The medical superintendent lauded the students for the venture and encouraged the students to come forward with more numbers in the near future.
