SHILLONG: Amlarem police on Thursday night detected three coal trucks which were plying in violation of the NGT order
Police said that three trucks were loaded with coal without a challan besides not having paid royalty in violation of the NGT order. A case has been registered in Amlarem Police station.
Meanwhile, on November 21, police detected two trucks while loading coal from a depot at Byndihati in East Jaintia Hills, for transportation in violation of the NGT order. On the same day, Khliehriat police also detected six trucks.

FIR against Rimpu
SHILLONG: Enilla Ch Marak lodged a complaint that Danakgre A’king Nokma Barnard Rimpu M Marak used her letter pad and seal of her A’king Land (Danakgre) without her knowledge.

Unclaimed body
Shillong: Civil Hospital, Shillong has informed that a patient named Atar Jyrwa Nongsiej, 70 years, was admitted in the Male Medical Ward-I, Bed No. 82 on October 26 and expired on Friday at 9:40 am. All concerned relatives have been requested to collect the body within three days.
