Cheating cases
Manoj Hembram lodged a complaint that in 2012, the complainant worked with Devendra Kumar, a contractor under M/s GR Infra Project Ltd., who owed him and his co-labourers Rs. 90,000-, which include their wages on account of construction of Shillong-Guwahati Bypass road. On January 14, they were given Axis Bank cheques for a total of Rs. 50,000- but all the checques bounced.
Monti Rymbai lodged a complaint that on October 2, she loaded 310 bags of cement in one truck (PB-13S-8472) driven by Harjit Singh for delivering the same to M/s Dineshchandra R Agarwal Infracon Pvt. Ltd., Darjeeling. However, the truck failed to reach its destination.
