TURA: Former Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) MDC from 16-Asanang constituency in Rongram, Kredithson ChM arak, has resigned from the National People’s Party (NPP).

The former MDC has submitted his resignation to the party leaders citing personal reason.

However, sources close to the former MDC reveal that Marak is switching allegiance to the BJP which is likely to allot him the party ticket to contest from Rangsakona constituency where senior Congress minister Zenith M Sangma is seeking to retain his seat in the coming elections.
