SHILLONG: Former minister and Congress legislator Sniawbhalang Dhar, who is set to join NPP, said on Monday that people will see a new government after the 2018 polls. “Definitely, there will be a change of government after the polls,” he said.
Dhar’s statement assumes significance following the exodus of several MLAs from the Congress.
With a wave in favour of NPP, the party leadership hopes to get 16 seats from Khasi-Jaintia Hills and more than 12 seats from Garo Hills.
