Truck driver held for murder

SHILLONG: Police has arrested one truck driver in connection with the alleged murder of a colleague in East Jaintia Hills.
On December 2, a dead body of one Chote Lal was recovered from a truck (UP-25AT-9105) at Lumshnong.
In this connection, the driver of the truck Md. Abdul Aziz stated that the handyman fell down from the truck at Silchar, Assam.
However, post mortem examination report opined that the cause of death was due to grievous injuries caused by a blunt object.
Police arrested the truck driver and sent him to judicial custody, as he is suspected to be involved in the case.
