Book on Kyndiah released

SHILLONG: A book named PR Kyndiah- The early Years by Andrew Simons was released by Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker AT Mondal on Thursday.
Simons is also the Commissioner and Secretary of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. Speaking on the occasion, Mondal said that the book will inspire many young legislators and they would get an idea about the life of the tall leader of the state, PR Kyndiah, who was also the Union Minister.Kyndiah, who retired from active politics in 2009, prior to the Lok Sabha polls, had served as the Union Tribal Affairs Minister and DoNER Minister in 2004 when Congress-led UPA was in power.Family members of Kyndiah, and staff of the Assembly were also present.
