SHILLONG: The chief minister, when asked about the possibility of Congress turncoats coming back to the party, drew an analogy with retrieving a woman from her labour pain to describe the deserters’ return.
“Sometimes what happen is that the natural process should be allowed to work? When there is a labour you don’t try to retrieve the woman from the labour pain otherwise you will have a stillbirth,” Sangma told reporters.
“We would like the natural labour pain to be allowed for a good delivery,” he added.
