Prestone, Comingone & others skip session

SHILLONG: Many legislators were missing from the House on the first day of the winter session on Friday.
Among others who were not present include rebel Congress legislators Prestone Tynsong and Comingone Ymbon, who are poised to join NPP.
Another rebel Congress legislator Sniawbhalang Dhar attended the session briefly.
Health Minister Roshan Warjri had informed the Assembly Secretariat about her inability to attend the session as she was not well.
Others legislators who were absent include John Leslee Sangma, T Chyne, Nihim D Shira, Sanbor Shullai and Rophul Marak.
Though Robinus Syngkon was absent during the session, he later arrived in the Assembly.
When asked about the absentee legislators, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said since this is election time, many legislators may be busy in their constituencies.
