Shillong: Lascretice Lyngdoh of Madan Laban, Shillong lodged a complaint that on November 12, he hired one drilling company viz., M/s Unique Bore Well for repairing his damaged bore well at Nongsder (Ri Bhoi) and reached an agreement with the agent of the company namely, Paulos Bora for Rs. 72,000/- out of which Rs. 30,000/- was paid as advance for starting the work on November 15.
The complainant was asked to purchase filtering pipes and submersible pump for repairing the bore well.
However, when the complainant returned after purchasing all the materials, he found that the drilling work had stopped and the work haphazardly done.
Later, when the complainant refused to pay the balance money on account of incomplete work, Paulos Bora threatened him with dire consequences.
