SHILLONG: Three persons were killed after their motorcycle in which they were travelling collided with a bus in North Garo Hills on Sunday afternoon.
The accident occurred at Sarangma village in the district when the motorcycle hit the bus (ML07-4892) which was coming from Nongalbibra in South Garo Hills. A case was registered.
While two victims died on the spot, the third victim died at the nearby Community Health Centre.
They have been identified as Jollingstone Marak , Balsen Marak and Apin Arengh from Gairong village under Kharkutta.
The cases of mishap continue to be reported in the state, mainly involving rash driving or bad road condition.
