SHILLONG: Sohra MLA Titosstarwell Chyne inaugurated the Kongthong water supply scheme on Saturday.
The scheme, to be implemented at a cost of Rs 75.28 lakh, will enhance supply at Kongthong.
The MLA also inaugurated the new section of the building of Kongthong Presbyterian LP School and the community hall. While the school building was constructed at a cost of Rs 3 lakh from the MP scheme the hall cost Rs 5 lakh under the border areas department.
On the poor road condition in the constituency, Chyne said he would ensure that road connectivity improves at Warbah, Sder and other villages.
