SHILLONG: The participation of four legislators in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on Saturday is still uncertain.
An MLA on request of anonymity said he would not share the dais with the Prime Minister and added that the decision to join BJP would be taken after discussion with supporters.
BJP state president Shibun Lyngdoh had said on Monday that Independents Robinus Syngkon and Justine Dkhar, and AL Hek (Congress) and Sanbor Shullai (NCP) would share the dais with Modi.
Lyngdoh had also he had already spoken to these legislators and they accepted the verbal invitation to share the dais with the Prime Minister before formally joining BJP.
Dkhar, who represents Khliehriat, said he would not share the dais. When asked if he would join BJP shortly, he said he cannot comment anything on it as he  has no information.
Mowkaiaw MLA Syngkon said he has not received the invitation for the programme. “I was told by people that the PMO is clearing my name and we will see tomorrow,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shullai could not be contacted for his comment on whether he would be there on the dais.
Meanwhile, Lyngdoh said the party had send invitation to all the four MLAs.
