Cleaning drive
The Dorbar Shnong Madanrting will organise a cleaning drive on December 18 from 8 am onwards. All residentsof Madanrting are requested to participate in the cleaning drive.
Competition
The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Mawryngkneng circle conducted an essay and painting competition at 7 Hut Orchid Hotel recently. The union also felicitated freedom fighter Paiem Wickliff Syiem, the prince of Hima Nongstoin. Around 17 meritorious students were awarded while Rokestar Kharbihkhiew who completed his PhD from NEHU and Basukshisha Kharbithai, the first magistrate from Mawryngkneng were also felicitated.
