SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union Mawryngkneng Circle, has recently organised a felicitation programme for the meritorious students at 7 Hut Orchid Hotel on December 9.
17 meritorious students including Rokestar Kharbihkhiew, who has completed his PHD from NEHU from the department of Library Information Science and Basukshisha Kharbithai who is the first Judicial Magistrate from the village of Mawryngkneng also felicitated students.
A easy writing and painting competition were also organised the Union. The winners of the essay competition were Arlesstar Kharsati, Riakor Kharsunai and Dawanbiang Mawthoh and in the Painting competition the winners are Armiki War, Wecomstar Mynsong and Pynbor Mukhim.
