Three ex-MLAs on NPP fourth list

SHILLONG: Three former legislators figured on the fourth list of candidates released by the National People’s Party (NPP) on Sunday.
NPP declared the names of 10 candidates. These include three former MLAs — Augustine D Marak (Tikrikilla), Philipole Marak (Gambegre) and Brening A. Sangma (Dalu).
Other names are Rupert Momin (Kharkutta), Jim Sangma (Rongjeng), Esmatur Mominin (Phulbari), Subir Marak (Rangsakhona), Sanjay Sangma (Mahendraganj), Secondson Sangma (Chokpot) and Sengnal Sangma (Baghmara).
The party has altogether declared 39 candidates who will contest the forthcoming 2018 Assembly elections.
