SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP) will release its poll manifesto on January 11.
Informing this here on Monday, UDP working President, Paul Lyngdoh said that the manifesto would be released in a massive public rally to be held in Shillong.
In the rally, the party will also release its Common Minimum programme.
Though the venue has not been confirmed, the public rally is likely to be held in Malki ground. The party during the rally is also likely to announce the names of the some of the poll candidates from remaining constituencies which have not been declared as of now.
The UDP which secured 8 seats in the 2013 Assembly elections is hoping for a turn around this time and to bring the regional forces into power. The UDP has also forged an alliance with the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP).
