NONGPOH: Stevenson Kharkrang, President of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), Umiam Circle, who was arrested a week ago by Ri-Bhoi Police in connection with the arson case at Ronghona and Shangbangla earlier this year, was released on bail by the District Court of Nongpoh on Tuesday
As soon as he was being released from the District Jail at Mawsyntai, Kharkrang was welcomed by Lambokstarwell Marngar, President Central Body, Ferdynald Kharkamni, President NKHD, his family members and hundreds of the Union members from Shillong and Ri Bhoi.
