Truck abandoned
On December 20 around 3.15 pm, one coal laden truck (JK-02AL-6095) was found abandoned at 13th Mile in Byrnihat. The matter is now under investigation.
Accident
On December 18 around 5.40 pm, one dumper truck (ML-05K-4267) driven by Bunlangki Lytan (32) collided head-on with one Maruti van (ML-05A-7329) driven by Exphot Khongwir (54) at Mawkhong village . As a result, driver and occupants of the Maruti van sustained injuries and were transported to Hospital.
Theft
Sailenstar Ranee lodged a complaint that on December 18, unknown miscreants had stolen a cutting machine along with a motor, steamers, boilers and a solar panel system worth Rs. 3 lakh from Starwill Enterprise Chow Manufacturing Unit at Down Gate, Nongpoh.
Sanjay D Sangma lodged a complaint that on December 17 around 4 pm, one Debojit Rabha of Malibari, Agia, Assam [JCB operator] was found missing along with Rs. 80,000 in cash.
